Don't forget the 1 800 number in the back of your owners manual. If your local dealer wont make good let Deere know. I had a similar situation and got marvelous results after calling the 1 800 number.

Please let me assure you - if you call the John Deere 1 800 number in the back of your owners manual and tell them your gripe they absolutly will take whatever steps are necessary to regain your confidence. Give them a chance! Not all dealers take care of their customers, thats why the number is there. They know they have a long reputation at stake and they aren't going to ruin it over a tractor. Let us know how it goes!

It would be nice to get at least a call from the local dealer. I haven't heard from them since the salesman left. My tractor has been a total lemon !!!!! A few problems were resolved but many remain. I thought I was buying quality when I bought a Deere but I was very dissapointed. They did a real sales job on me convincing me that Deere was the best - what a crock!
